Favorite track: Four on the Floor (composed by Judd Greenstein).

Someone asked my favorite artist at the moment, and I had no answer. But I've noticed Missy Mazzoli keeps turning up as a composer of music I keep replaying. There's a composition here as well.

Very complex neo-classical music. This has lots of layers to it, and sounds at times discordant, but I like it more with each listen. This band requires some patience, but I think you get rewarded for that patience. Found in Ed Buckley's collection. Roy Meerkamper

Gorgeous composition and performance. I love the spare but contemporary instrumentation with the singing which is sometimes very traditional and sometimes quite up-to-date. I highly recommend this. Don Mitchell
